“One Goal. Creating a Better World for All” – this is the vision that is being lived out by a global technology powerhouse, Lenovo South Africa.
On Friday, the 21st of February 2025, Verulam Islamic School had the privilege of hosting Lenovo. The Grade 9 learner’s were introduced to the latest computer technology and given information by Lenovo’s speakers to inspire, motivate, and help them to improve their mindsets for a brighter future.
The school was also privileged to host a speaker from Durban University of Technology, Mr Ebrahim Asmal, the Head of the IT Department.
The highlight of the event was the sponsorship of 12 Notebooks
to the school.
Verulam Islamic School is truly grateful to the individuals who made this project a reality, that is Lenovo’s CSR Champion Jane Govinsamy and Ops Manager (META) Mubeen Suleman.
Lenovo’s generosity and passion for the advancement of education will always be an inspiration for all to follow.
